For over 5 years, I’ve been a UX writer, content strategist and design leader at Google. Hired in 2014 as the first dedicated UX writer for Nest, I’ve written product content for every one of Nest’s product categories, including thermostats, cameras, security, subscription services, smoke alarms, speakers and displays.

My team writes all product copy, including:

• Onboarding and installation flows

• Push notifications and product emails

• Settings

• Feature and in-box part naming

• Product audio and point of sale demo scripts

• Legal guidelines

We also coordinate across several other Google product areas.
