I manage a team responsible for TV (tvOS, Apple TV app, TV+ subscription) video apps (FinalCut Pro, Clips, and iMovie), Maps, iCloud, Family Sharing and Apple Accounts,

As part of the Services writing leadership team, my role requires cross functional collaboration and strategic influence across Apple services. I influence and develop standards and patterns for Services, ensuring alignment across platforms (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, tvOS and Vision Pro).

In my first year at Apple, I presented a design session at WWDC22, Writing for Interfaces and hosted a “Meet the Presenters” Q&A session. I coached the presenters for the WWDC24 session, Add Personality to Your App Through UX Writing.

GOOGLE NEST Staff UX Manager, Writing and Design
DEC 2014 - MAY 2018 AND JAN 2019-APR 2021

Design manager for growth and subscription services, as well as the UX writing team responsible for all of Google Nest. Managed managers and led the annual Google-wide UX writing summit for several years.

As the first UX Writer at Nest, I was responsible for product content for both the Google Home app and the Nest app, including push notifications and email, onboarding, and settings. I wrote product voice scripts for the Nest Protect smoke and carbon monoxide alarm and Nest Hello doorbell, as well as on-screen copy for the Nest thermostat and Nest Hub. Advised Google Assistant team on conversational design for Nest products.
