Product for Working Moms

This was a freelance project I did in the Spring of 2013. I was hired to write a tagline and several pages of web copy for a product targeted at new mothers returning to work.

Tagline:

“A better breast pump bag.”

Alternate: “Relax. You’ve got this.”

Returning to work after having my first child was tough. I was tired and worried about leaving my little boy. My wardrobe was lost in that space between maternity comfort and new mom frump. And then there were the bags. Just getting out the door required at least three: a purse, a cooler and a breast pump bag.

There had to be a better way, preferably one that didn’t scream “pumping mom!” every time I walked down the street.

I created the Nurse Purse for myself, and for working and pumping moms everywhere. I am not a fashion designer or business person, but I created this product because getting out of the house is hard enough with a new baby.

And because everyone deserves a cute bag.
